Dr. Rigling received his B.A in Psychology from Binghamton University, and went on to earn his Psy.D. from the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology at the University of Hartford. Following the completion of his doctorate, Christopher completed a residency in psychology at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT.
Dr. Rigling’s clinical practice is centered around his work and extensive training in couples’ and group psychotherapy. As a member of both the International Center for Emotionally Focused Psychotherapy(ICEFT) and the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Psychotherapy(NYCEFT), Dr. Rigling has received advanced training in the EFT model at the Center for Hope and Renewal and at the Ackerman Institute for the Family.
